Roulette Equipment: Roulette Table

The roulette table is a colorful addition to the casino floor, with unique features every roulette player needs to know. In it's most basic form the table layout is a rectangle stretching from the roulette wheel at one end, to the column bets at the other. There is an area for players. It is one side and one end. In most casinos players stand and never seat. The other side is the dealers domain, and only they may enter. It is not necessary to know these areas when playing Roulette online. You must know only the betting area.

There are inside and outside bets on the table. The inside area accepts bets on certain numbers, while the outside area is for betting on some characteristics of the number. 

On most standard American roulette tables you will find options for betting on the first, second, or third block of 12 numbers, the first or second half of the numbers (1-18, or 19-36), red or black, and even or odd numbers. Column bets are also available. You can find column bets at the end of the inner block of numbers.

The inside area accepts all bets on single numbers or some combinations of numbers.
