Roulette Bets

Roulette is one of those casino games that offer so many bets.
Outside bets are bets which are represented outside the main table layout. There are no winning outside bets for 0 results. There are several outside bets.

Color bets: Red bet or Black bet.
This bet allows betting on either black or red number. Place this bet right in the diamond shaped areas on the front of the
board, filled in with a red or black color. This bet is considered to be the easiest one because in this case the chances of winning are nearly half a chance. The most common mistake is assuming that if the previous spin was black, then the next one will be red. It is not so, because the Roulette wheel has no memory and each spin doesn’t depend on the previous one. The payout with these bets is 1:1.

Odd bet or Even bet.

It is nearly the same as red/black bet, but here you bet whether the number will be odd or even. Since 0 does not count as either, there are 36 numbers, an even count between odd and even.

Low bet or high bet.

The same thing here. The low/high bet is a bet that the number the ball will land in will be either part of the range from 1 to 18, or part of the range from 19 to 36. This is also an even money bet.

Column bet
There are boxes with the words '2 to 1' written on them at one end of the set of 37 numbers are. Each box is part of a column of numbers if you extend a line up the body of the inside of the betting area. If a number from within the column you
are betting on comes up you win. The payout is 2 to 1.

Dozen or section bet
This bet lets you bet on either the first dozen numbers (1-12), the second dozen (13-24), or the third dozen (25-36). To place this bet find the rectangular areas located in between the outside bets and the inside board spread. These will usually be labeled with the sections: 1st 12, 2nd 12, and 3rd 12. The payout is 2 to 1.

Inside bets
The inside bets are bets on specific numbers or combinations of numbers within the inside table layout, or along the border of it. There are also several inside bets.

Straight-up bet.

This is the simplest roulette bet. Here the player chooses only one number and places a bet on it. In the case of winning the payout is 35:1.

Split bet
This bet allows you to make a single bet on two numbers. You bet that one of these numbers will win. But these numbers must be next to each other on the table layout. The payout is 17:1 if any of these numbers comes out.

Street bet
This bet is a bet on three different numbers with the same bet. You can do this by placing chips on the outside of the row of numbers you want to bet on. So if you want to bet on the numbers 1, 2, and 3 all at once, put your chips down on the line that is the outside edge of the 3. This bet pays 11 to 1.

Corner or square bet
This is a bet on four adjoining numbers. Placing your chips at the point where four numbers meet will indicate you want a corner bet. This is also called a square bet. If any of the four numbers comes up, you get paid 8 to 1.

Five number bet
To make this bet place your chips at the intersection of 0 and 3 on the corner. You can win if any of 0, 00, 1, 2, or 3
is hit. The payoff is 8 to 1.
