In roulette everything depends on luck. Trying to keep the house edge to a minimum is almost all you can do from a strategic point of view. Casinos often have special rules which directly affect on the edge. The first special rule is the 'surrender' option. This rule is applied to outside bets such as odd/even, red/black, and high/low. In case the ball falls on 0 or 00 you lose half your bet,but not the whole betting. This affects the house edge considerably; after all it is the 0 and 00 which account for the high house edge in the first place. Of course, the payoffs aren't as great for outside bets, but simply by finding a table with the ‘surrender' rule, you are improving your odds substantially. Rather interesting point is the 0 and 00. It is better to look out for tables with only one 0 , or European tables. Primarily found in Europe, these tables offer a much more attractive house edge from the player's point of view. With a European table to play on you are reducing the house edge from 5. 26 percent to 2. 7 percent. Physically European roulette tables are found more often in Europe, but in the ‘online world’ gambling they are just a click away.

Online and real Roulette tables don’t differ from each other. There are areas with 36 numbers, zero or zeros and a set of all bets a player can make. Most online roulette games feature exactly the same table. As a rule the color of the Roulette table in online casino is green. The only concern with the online roulette table is that there are not too many people playing there because if that is the case and there are simply way too many chips flying around everywhere, not only will it start to get confusing but arguments may break out over which chips belong to whom. It is important to denote that the roulette tables have lower bet limits; a player who doesn't know how to play needs to be aware of them. There are upper table limits as well, typically varying for every type of bet in a fixed proportion. The betting table is divided into 2 areas: outside and inside area. A bet on individual numbers or on a combination of numbers is places on the inside table, a bet on non-numeric conditions is placed on the outside table. The inside table. The inside table consists of 3 columns of sequential numbers. The zero (and double zero for American roulette) can be found above this table, and the column bet fields are below (they technically belong to the outside table). The outside table can be found to the right or to the left side of the inside table. The minimum wager for bets in the inside area are shown on the table itself, and players can make bets lower than this minimum limit. The outside table. You don’t make bets on numbers on the outside table. The bet amount on the outside table can’t be lower the minimum limit. The three squares attached to the inside table represent dozens. Betting on each dozen wins when any number within that dozen is played out. The next row is comprised of three pairs of cubicles. The outer squares are the "high/low bets": you can bet either on low (1 to 18) or high (19 to 36) half of the numbers. The counterpart of high/low is "odd/even": you bet on odd or even numbers respectively. The innermost squares are indeed "red/black": similar to the bets above, you respectively bet on red or black numbers. A "column bet" is a bet on either of three columns of 12 numbers when the chips are placed in the column squares under the number table. Remember that any bet in the outside table excludes zero and double zero. Consider this if you are planning on a strategy. It is very difficult to release the ball with the same speed, but some dealers can do this. It is called a dealer signature. As long as there is little or no deflection from the metal stops on the roulette wheel it is possible to predict where the ball will drop. If you watch the game and notice that the number has repeated within 100 spins you must use this chance as you are more likely to deal with a biased wheel and turn it to your advantage. If you want to overcome the casino’s advantage then the biased wheel is your chance. You must buy in chips before playing roulette and exchange the colored chips for regular casino chips when leaving the Roulette table. When choosing a bet, try to avoid 5 number bets as the payback with these bets is much lower. 5 number bets have the house edge of 7. 89 percent. Never play American Roulette as 00 decreases your chances of winning. European Roulette is more in your favor. When playing European Roulette don’t forget about the Surrender option. When playing any game you must always stick to your own bank roll.
