The world 'roulette' means 'a small wheel' in French. The primitive version of the game was introduced by Blaise Pascal in the 17th century. Frenchmen Francois and Louis Blanc invented the single "0" roulette game in 1842. In the 19th century casino gambling was forbidden in France, that's why the game wasn't so well-known in France, but it was very popular in Hamburg and Germany. Later Francois and his son Camille were responsible for bringing the game of Roulette back to southern France for the Prince of Monaco, Charles III. In the 1800s the game of Roulette was introduced to the US public. The improvements were deleted, and a double "00" returned. The game became popular in the old west of America. Some dealers are so experienced that they release the ball with the same steed from spin to spin. It is called Dealer Signature. As long as there is little or no deflection from the metal stops on the roulette wheel it is possible to predict where the ball will drop. If a number repeats often within 100 spins you may have found a biased wheel that can turn the house advantage around to your favor. The biased wheel gives you an opportunity to overcome the house’s advantage. Before playing the game you have to buy in special colored chips, and after the game exchange them for regular casino chips. Never make 5 number bets as they have the least profitable payback. 5 number bets have the house edge of 7. 89 percent. Never play American Roulette as 00 decreases your chances of winning. European Roulette is more in your favor. Don’t forget about the Surrender option, which is available in European Roulette. And always try to manage your money.
