The European wheel - also known as the Single Zero roulette or sometimes French Roulette is very similar to the American wheel.
The fact that European wheel only has a single zero - whereas American wheel has a single zero and a double zero, makes the biggest difference between these two.
As the red/black and odd/even are placed right next to each other, and the first18/last18 betting spots are placed right next to the single numbers on the american table it
is more practical during the game, but the European table is more more beautiful in symmetry.
The European single zero offers the player better odds than the American wheel with it’s single and double zero.

| Roulette Game At European Casinos.
Roulette is a wheel game. The wheel of the roulette is spinned on an axis which is placed in a bowl. The wheel consists of 37 or 38 slots depending on the type of roulette:American roulette wheel contains 38 slots,European - 37. There are black and red numbers. The 0 and 00 are considered green. 8 players can participate the game at the same time. The rules suggest that the croupier spins the wheel of roulette in one direction and then rolls the ball around the edge of the wheel in the opposite direction. When the ball stops and falls at one of the slots the croupier announces the winners. You are to guess the number of the slot in which the ball will stop and to make the right bet. When you start the the game at the roulette table, you have to buy chips from the croupier which differ from all other chips in the casino. Each player is assigned his own color of chips so that the croupier knows who to pay off at the end of each spin. Players can make their bets until the croupier announces, "No more bets. "After the ball had stopped, the croupier puts a marker on top of the winning number on the table. The marker is placed on top of the chips, if there are bets on that number. Then all losing bets are swept off the table before the winning bets are paid off. |
Roulette computers are electronic devices designed to predict the outcome of spins. They are more effective than any roulette strategy. They measure the speed and deceleration of the wheel and ball to cheat and predict where the ball is most likely to land. If the computer is designed correctly, predictions are accurate enough to overcome the house edge and win at roulette. there are news articles about users of such devices that have been caught after winning vast sums of money. The most famous story of roulette computer use was of the Ritz Casino Mobile Phone group who earned . 3M within days. Because the technology is LEGAL, the group was permitted to keep their winnings. Roulette computers are actually LEGAL in most casinos. This is because the devices predict spin outcomes without interfering with actual outcomes. However, casinos obviously don't like players using them. If a casino suspects you of roulette computer use, they'll ask you to leave and may even ban you. For this reason, the technology must be applied covertly. Creating an effective roulette computer to beat modern roulette wheels is not merely a matter of creating software with simplistic algorithms and installing them into any old hardware. It is much more complicated. Roulette wheel designs have changed, and beating them is much more complicated. Many have tried and failed to develop effective computers. Like any roulette system there are unscrupulous sellers who knowingly sell ineffective devices. In this sense, buying a cheating device is the same as buying a roulette system or strategy. Most are simply ineffective, and the seller is blatantly dishonest. Some devices are theoretical devices that are not practical enough for real casino application, and some can only be successfully applied on very rare or defective roulette wheels. As with roulette systems, when considering purchasing a gambling device, great care should be taken, and by no means should you rely on a vendor's word alone.
You don't have to compete with other players in Roulette. You play against the dealer. 1 to 8 players can play the game at the same time. Players buy in and receive colored chips. All players have chips of different color. If you win a spin, you cash your color chip in for a cash chip of a certain value.
The "En Prison" rule. If you place an even money bet and the ball lands on zero, you can either take back your bet or leave it for another spin. If you choose to leave your bet for another spin you put it "in prison" as the jargon is. The 'La Partage' rule. When you place an outside even money bet and the ball lands on zero, you lose half your bet and you are not able to leave the remainder in prison, or out for another spin.
