Roulette is a wheel game. The wheel placed in a bowl spins on an axis. There are 37 or 38 numbered slots on the wheel, an American roulette wheel contains 38 slots, a European roulette wheel - 37. The numbers can be black or red. The 0 or 00 are green. 8 players can participate the game at the same time. Accordind to the rules the croupier spins the wheel of roulette in one direction and then rolls the ball around the edge of the wheel in the opposite direction. When the ball stops and falls at one of the slots the croupier announces the winners. The aim of roulette is to guess the number of the slot in which the ball will stop and to make the right bet. When you start the the game at the roulette table, you have to buy chips from the croupier which differ from all other chips in the casino. Each player has chips of his own color that's why the croupier knows who to pay off at the end of each spin. A player is allowed to bet until the croupier announces, "No more bets. "After the result of the spin is determined, the croupier puts a marker on top of the winning number on the table. If there are bets on that number,the marker is placed on top of the chips. The croupier sweeps off the table all losing bets and after that the winning bets are paid off.
