Roulette is a game of chance. The only thing you can do from a strategic point of view is to try to keep the house edge to a minimum. Casinos often have special rules which directly affect on the edge. The 'surrender' option is the first strategy to know. In Roulette, this rule applies to outside bets which pay even money only, such as odd/even, red/black, and high/low. In case the ball falls on 0 or 00 you lose half your bet,but not the whole betting. The house edge considerably depends on this;after all it is the 0 and 00 which account for the high house edge in the first place. Of course, the payoffs aren't as great for outside bets, but simply by finding a table with the ‘surrender' rule, you are improving your odds substantially. Rather interesting point is the 0 and 00. It is better that you look for tables with only one 0 - European tables. Primarily found in Europe, these tables offer a much more attractive house edge from the player's point of view. With a European table to play on you are reducing the house edge from 5. 26 percent to 2. 7 percent. Physically European roulette tables are found more often in Europe, but in the ‘online world’ gambling they are just a click away. [an error occurred while processing this directive]

The table for real and online Roulette is the same, there is no difference. You have the 36 numbers and zero or zeroes laid out and around them you have the variety and assortment of outside bets which you can make. Most online roulette games feature exactly the same table. The color of the online roulette table is normally green. The only concern with the online roulette table is that there are not too many people playing there because if that is the case and there are simply way too many chips flying around everywhere, not only will it start to get confusing but arguments may break out over which chips belong to whom. It is important to denote that the roulette tables have lower bet limits; a player who doesn't know how to play needs to be aware of them. There are upper table limits as well, typically varying for every type of bet in a fixed proportion. The betting table is divided into 2 areas: outside and inside area. On inside table you can make bets on individual numbers or on a combination of numbers, on outside table you can make bets on non-numeric conditions. The inside table. The inside table is simply a table of sequential numbers, 3 columns each representing a dozen. The zero (and double zero for American roulette) can be found above this table, and the column bet fields are below (they technically belong to the outside table). The outside table is attached to the right or left side of the inside table. The sum of player's bets on the inner table must reach the table minimum, as declared on the table itself. The outside table. You don’t make bets on numbers on the outside table. The bet amount on the outside table can’t be lower the minimum limit. The three squares attached to the inside table represent dozens. Betting on each dozen wins when any number within that dozen is played out. The next row is comprised of three pairs of cubicles. The outer squares are the "high/low bets": you can bet either on low (1 to 18) or high (19 to 36) half of the numbers. The counterpart of high/low is "odd/even": you bet on odd or even numbers respectively. The innermost squares are indeed "red/black": similar to the bets above, you respectively bet on red or black numbers. A "column bet" is a bet on either of three columns of 12 numbers when the chips are placed in the column squares under the number table. Remember that any bet in the outside table excludes zero and double zero. Consider this if you are planning on a strategy. You don't have to compete with other players in Roulette. You play against the dealer. 8 players can take part in the game. Players buy in and receive colored chips. All players have chips of different color. If you win a spin, you cash your color chip in for a cash chip of a certain value. The "En Prison" rule can be applied when you make an even money bet and the spinning ball stops on the zero. In this case you can either use your bet for another spin or you can take it. If you choose to leave your bet for another spin you put it "in prison" as the jargon is. The 'La Partage' rule. When you place an outside even money bet and the ball lands on zero, you lose half your bet and you are not able to leave the remainder in prison, or out for another spin.
