Roulette Strategy

The whole thing weighs upwards of a hundred pounds, at nearly 3 feet in diameter. There are 36 numbers on the wheel and they are evenly divided among red and black pockets. The pocket is an area, in which the ball can land. The Roulette wheel also has on or two green pockets. The green pockets has numbers 0 and 00 or only 00, depending on the kind of Roulette. The numbers are not distributed in a random fashion. A balance between red and black, high and low, and odd and even is sought by the wheel makers. For every number on the wheel, directly across from it is the next highest even number. Black and red alternate, pairs of even numbers alternate with pairs of odd numbers (with 0 and 00 exceptions). This roulette wheel design is standard within the industry. When all bets are made the dealer spins the wheel counterclockwise and then the ball is released along the track. As the wheel loses velocity the ball is pulled down off of the track and bounces around until it settles into a pocket. There are a million small buffers and bumps to ensure that the ball is tossed around a good bit randomly before it finds a home.

Roulette Betting Bets. Roulette is the third biggest game in the world because of its relative simplicity. There are two versions of Roulette: the European and the American Roulette. Let's focus on the American version. The American double zero increases the house edge on American roulette tables.
Roulette payouts are not pot luck or simple jackpot wins, they vary depending on what was wagered in the first place and where the chip is placed.
Straight bets yield the highest payouts because they have the worst odds of winning. A straight bet is when you pick one number to bet. You can also choose zero or double zero. The payout is 35 to 1. It's so high because you obviously have a one in 38 chance of winning. You can choose this bet on its own if you have cash to burn.
You can increase your chances but still get a high payout (at least where roulette payouts are concerned) by splitting your bet. This means that you put your chip between two numbers on the board. If it lands on either of these numbers you get a 17 to 1 payout. You can also use corner bets (where all four corners of each number meet) - yielding an 8 to 1 payout. You can use different combinations for more secure bets.
Perhaps the easiest method the most rewarding is to simply bet on red or black. However this gives a low payout, which is even to how much you wagered. Suppose if you bet and win, you get your back with an extra .
Identical to this is the odd and even bet. Simply bet on whether the ball will land on an odd or even number. You don't have to decide the exact number it lands on though.
High bets are between 1 and 18, and low bets are between 19 and 36. A winning bet would simply grant a payout of 1 to 1.
Of course these payouts can alter as you use different combinations - but in doing so you greatly decrease your odds of winning at all, and you can quickly burn through your whole bank balance.
The simplest method is to bet on odd or even and red or black. Combine this with the Martingale system and you will always be in the positive. It just depends on how big your bank balance is.
So the bets to avoid are probably all single number bets and the five number bet because these types of bets have the largest disparity between true odds and actual payouts.

Today most casino odds are set by law, and they have to be either 34 to 1 or 35 to 1. This means that the house pays you or and you get to keep your original bet.
The house average or house edge (also called the expected value) is the amount the player loses relative to any bet made, on average. If a player bets on a single number in the American game there is a probability of 1/38 that the player wins 35 times the bet, and a 37/38 chance that the player loses his bet.
The presence of the green squares on the roulette wheel and on the table are technically the only house edge. Outside bets will always lose when a single or double zero come up. However, the house also has an edge on inside bets because the pay outs are always set at 35 to 1 when you mathematically have a 37 to 1 chance at winning a straight bet on a single number.
The house edge should not be confused with the hold. The hold is the total amount of cash the table changes for chips, minus the chips taken away from the table. In other words, the actual "win" amount for the casino. The Casino Control Commission in Atlantic City releases a monthly report showing the win/hold amounts for each casino. The average win/hold for double zero wheels is between 21-30%, significantly more than 5. 26%/2. 70% of all players money because players are making repeated bets after winning and losing portions of their total money. This is known in the casino gaming industry as "churning" and is especially true of slot machine players who statistically end up losing all their wagers.
A player with a certain total amount of money may not win or lose all his money instantly, as the total of all bets they make will often be greater than the total of the money they actually started with. The house edge applies to each bet made and not the total money. That means the player can end up losing significantly more than 5. 26% of his starting money.

It is very difficult to release the ball with the same speed, but some dealers can do this. It is called a dealer signature. As long as there is little or no deflection from the metal stops on the roulette wheel it is possible to predict where the ball will drop. If you watch the game and notice that the number has repeated within 100 spins you must use this chance as you are more likely to deal with a biased wheel and turn it to your advantage. If you want to overcome the casino’s advantage then the biased wheel is your chance. Before playing the game you have to buy in special colored chips, and after the game exchange them for regular casino chips. When choosing a bet, try to avoid 5 number bets as the payback with these bets is much lower. 7,89 is the house edge of 5 number bets. If you choose between European and American Roulette, then play European Roulette as here you have more chances of winning. Don’t forget about the Surrender option, which is available in European Roulette. And always try to manage your money.
