Roulette Strategy

In roulette everything depends on chance. The only thing you can do from a strategic point of view is to try to keep the house edge to a minimum. Casinos often have special rules which directly affect on the edge. The 'surrender' option is the first strategy to know. In Roulette, this rule applies to outside bets which pay even money only, such as odd/even, red/black, and high/low. If the balls lands on the 0 or the 00 you only lose half your bet, rather than the whole betting. This affects the house edge considerably; after all it is the 0 and 00 which account for the high house edge in the first place. Of course, the payoffs aren't as great for outside bets, but simply by finding a table with the ‘surrender' rule, you are improving your odds substantially. Rather interesting point is the 0 and 00. It is better to look out for tables with only one 0 , or European tables. Primarily found in Europe, these tables offer a much more attractive house edge from the player's point of view. With a European table to play on you are reducing the house edge from 5. 26 percent to 2. 7 percent. Physically European roulette tables are found more often in Europe, but in the ‘online world’ gambling they are just a click away.

Rapid Roulette Games. Roulette is a classic in the world of casino games. In any full service casino in the United States besides blackjack and craps you'll find roulette which is more popular in France where it is historically a cultural part of the gambling scene. Roulette has been played in Europe since the 18th century, and online roulette games are popular now all over the world. Since at least 1796 when it was played in Paris roulette exists in the same form. Roulette had its origins in multiple other games. In the early 18th century in France was popular "biribi" - an italian ball game which was combined with another wheel game where colors, not numbers were used. The English game "Roly-poly" which consisted of black and white slots was launched in 1720. Thus, roulette is a hybrid of both birib and Roly-poly. Understanding a game is the first step down the road of enjoying a game. And although knowledge of the game won't change your strategy or your chances of winning, it will increase the amount of pleasure you take away from the tables.

The table for real and online Roulette is the same, there is no difference. The table consists of 36 numbers, a zero or zeros and all possible bets. Most online roulette games feature exactly the same table. The color of the online roulette table is normally green. The only concern with the online roulette table is that there are not too many people playing there because if that is the case and there are simply way too many chips flying around everywhere, not only will it start to get confusing but arguments may break out over which chips belong to whom. The main feature is lower bet limits. If you have never played online Roulette before you should get acquainted with bet limits. There are upper table limits as well, typically varying for every type of bet in a fixed proportion. The betting table is divided into 2 areas: outside and inside area. The inside table allows you to bet on individual numbers or on a combination of numbers, while the outside table allows you to bet on non-numeric conditions. In either case, any number matching the bet triggers the win.

The inside table.

The inside table consists of 3 columns of sequential numbers. The zero (and double zero for American roulette) can be found above this table, and the column bet fields are below (they technically belong to the outside table). The outside table can be found to the right or to the left side of the inside table. The sum of player's bets on the inner table must reach the table minimum, as declared on the table itself.

The outside table.

The outside table encompasses special bets - there are no numbers in this table. Any bet within the outside table must at least reach the lower table limit. The three squares attached to the inside table represent dozens. Betting on each dozen wins when any number within that dozen is played out. The next row is comprised of three pairs of cubicles. The outer squares are the "high/low bets": you can bet either on low (1 to 18) or high (19 to 36) half of the numbers. The counterpart of high/low is "odd/even": you bet on odd or even numbers respectively. The innermost squares are indeed "red/black": similar to the bets above, you respectively bet on red or black numbers. A "column bet" is a bet on either of three columns of 12 numbers when the chips are placed in the column squares under the number table. Remember that any bet in the outside table excludes zero and double zero. Consider this if you are planning on a strategy.

The first and the most common mistake is not setting a bank roll limit. When you go and visit a casino only take a certain amount of money with you for gambling purposes, and leave all your plastic cards at home. When you spend your entire bank roll move on and find something else to do, don't bother getting emotionally involved with the games you're playing because it's the quickest way to spend much more money! The reason of losing can be the fact that players don’t know the game well enough. It is not a secret that in some casinos you can get different alcohol drinks for free. Drinking impairs your judgement and gets you emotionally involved within the game thus losing feels worse, and most importantly you won't be able to play using scientifically proven strategies that shrink the odds of the casino winning. The next most common mistake is drinking alcohol during the game. Whatever you do, don't gamble if you are going to be drinking. It just makes no sense and just drains your bank roll! In differebt casinos players win differently. Maybe you play in a wrong casino. You can always find a better casino with better odds, bonuses, promotions and conditions for players. New players use the strategies of other gamblers, as they believe that it can help them to win. In fact they are mistaken here. Play your own way and never stick to strategies of other gamblers.
