If you translate the word of “Roulette” from French you will get “small wheel”. The primitive version of the game was introduced by Blaise Pascal in the 17th century. The single zero Roulette was introduced in 1842 by Frenchmen Francois and Louis Blank. The game wasn't then very popular in France as any form of gambling was considered illegal, but Roulette was well-known in Germany and Hamburg. Later Francois and his son Camille were responsible for bringing the game of Roulette back to southern France for the Prince of Monaco, Charles III. In the 1800s the game of Roulette was introduced to the US public. The improvements were deleted, and a double "00" returned. The game became popular in the old west of America. It is very difficult to release the ball with the same speed, but some dealers can do this. It is called a dealer signature. As long as there is little or no deflection from the metal stops on the roulette wheel it is possible to predict where the ball will drop. If the number repeats within 100 spins you can turn this to your advantage as this is a biased wheel. A biased wheel is one of only two true opportunities to overcome the casino's advantage. You must buy in chips before playing roulette and exchange the colored chips for regular casino chips when leaving the Roulette table. Never make 5 number bets as they have the least profitable payback. The house advantage on a 5 number bet is a whopping 7. 89 percent. Never play American Roulette as 00 decreases your chances of winning. European Roulette is more in your favor. Don’t forget about the Surrender option, which is available in European Roulette. When playing any game you must always stick to your own bank roll.
