The most famous roulette story has to be that of Chris Boyd, a 40 year-old computer programmer from England. In January of 1994, Chris followed his dream to the casinos of Las Vegas for the ultimate roulette spin. Chris managed to save up 0,000 and he decided to put it on one spin of the wheel. It took him much time to find in Las Vegas a casino, in which he could place such a bet. With refusals from most of the major casinos, Chris was referred to Binion’s Horseshoe Club. The maximum table bet on red/black bet in Horseshoe Club was 0,000, but they met him halfway and let him make this bet. The casino also agreed to block out the double-zero on the wheel as this didn’t exist in the European version of the game that Chris was used to playing. Chris placed all his money on red. The casino and the dealer agreed to a few practice spins to ensure that full fairness for everyone concerned, and then the big spin came. The ball landed in number 7, red. Chris won 0,000 instantly, and asked for the money to be put into the casinos cage, and vowed never to gamble again.

The table for real and online Roulette is the same, there is no difference. The table consists of 36 numbers, a zero or zeros and all possible bets. Most online roulette games feature exactly the same table. The online Roulette table is green. The only concern with the online roulette table is that there are not too many people playing there because if that is the case and there are simply way too many chips flying around everywhere, not only will it start to get confusing but arguments may break out over which chips belong to whom. It is important to denote that the roulette tables have lower bet limits; a player who doesn't know how to play needs to be aware of them. Remember that different bets have different maximum limits. The betting table has two parts: the inside and the outside. The inside table allows you to bet on individual numbers or on a combination of numbers, while the outside table allows you to bet on non-numeric conditions. In either case, any number matching the bet triggers the win. The inside table. The inside table is simply a table of sequential numbers, 3 columns each representing a dozen. The zero (and double zero for American roulette) can be found above this table, and the column bet fields are below (they technically belong to the outside table). To the right or to the left side of the inside table the outside table can be found. The minimum wager for bets in the inside area are shown on the table itself, and players can make bets lower than this minimum limit. The outside table. You don’t make bets on numbers on the outside table. The bet amount on the outside table can’t be lower the minimum limit. The three squares attached to the inside table represent dozens. Betting on each dozen wins when any number within that dozen is played out. The next row is comprised of three pairs of cubicles. The outer squares are the "high/low bets": you can bet either on low (1 to 18) or high (19 to 36) half of the numbers. The counterpart of high/low is "odd/even": you bet on odd or even numbers respectively. The innermost squares are indeed "red/black": similar to the bets above, you respectively bet on red or black numbers. A "column bet" is a bet on either of three columns of 12 numbers when the chips are placed in the column squares under the number table. Remember that any bet in the outside table excludes zero and double zero. Consider this if you are planning on a strategy. It is very difficult to release the ball with the same speed, but some dealers can do this. It is called a dealer signature. As long as there is little or no deflection from the metal stops on the roulette wheel it is possible to predict where the ball will drop. If the number repeats within 100 spins you can turn this to your advantage as this is a biased wheel. A biased wheel is one of only two true opportunities to overcome the casino's advantage. You must buy in chips before playing roulette and exchange the colored chips for regular casino chips when leaving the Roulette table. Try to avoid 5 number bets, as it has the least profitable payback of all the bets. 5 number bets have the house edge of 7. 89 percent. If you choose between European and American Roulette, then play European Roulette as here you have more chances of winning. If you play the European Roulette and make the even outside bet use the Surrender option. Never spend more than you have planned to.
